A/W NYFW Collections and Presentations
The first collection I saw was the @Rochambeaunyc presentation in the studio at Lincoln Center. I was completely captivated by the whole scene. The wood chips and dirt the models were standing on, the floating mirrors, hanging trees and on the ceiling? A red wire crisscrossing atop the whole studio in the shape of a star. The crowd was circling the four corners of models dressed to the T in knits, leather gloves and all! See the rest at RACIEL CASTILLO DOT COM

The next show I attended was Joanna Mastroianni. Words really cannot describe my experience. First, I was front row. Second, the music was up-to-date and on point. And Third, The clothes were exceptionally well made, delivered and approved. The media coverage was insane. Running into my good friend and well known photographer, Andrew Werner was the icing on the cake. Sadly, we lost a great person last night. Zelda Kaplan. For those of you who don’t know, Zelda was a fixture in Manhattan’s Night scene. It’s such a sad thing, but she’s in a better place now, Thankfully.
